Keaton “Keke” Rodriguez comes to practice smiling and always has a word of encouragement for her teammates on the middle school cheer team. Her commitment to the team is why she was chosen as one of the December middle school Athletes of the Month.
“Keke is always willing to jump in and try a new skill and is flexible in working with new stunt groups,” January said. “When given corrections she applies it. She is a good teammate and is always willing to help. When cheering sideline at football and basketball games, Keke is always smiling and having fun.”
Head coach Kendall January said Keke’s attitude, work ethic and preparedness is an asset to her team. Representing the PRA Way, Keke arrives prepared to practices and games. She shows a respectful attitude to her teammates and coaches. And she holds herself account to practice even when something prevents her from being at the team’s practice.
Keke is a hard worker. She balances cheer, the school play, academics, and her personal life. She use her time wisely and is present in all the activities she engages in.
