Leyni’s leadership and dedication to the game contributed to her being chosen as the March Athlete of the Month for girls golf.

Coach Monica Henrichs said Leyni’s positive attitude makes her easy to coach. She is open to feedback, quick to learn and handles everything with a smile.

Her dedication to improving her game is shown in the hours she spends outside of practice taking additional lessons or getting in extra rounds of golf with her family on the weekends.

Her example—always being on time and prepareed—along with her attitude and dedication make her an incredible leader for the girls golf team.
